Family of Origin Issues

Grief

Trauma and crisis is not what you should know about- it's what we should! We are here to help! Our assessors know the right combination of services to help treat your trauma. Therapy, groups, medication, and CCSS/case management might all be recommended in order to help you get to a more stable and enjoyable chapter in your life.

When should I seek help?

Anytime! When you start to feel overwhelmed or some unexpected stressor hits. Also, find out what your ACE score is. We are advocates for folks learning as much as they can about themselves. Google 'ACE screening questions' and if your score is a 4 or higher, consider getting into therapy. This will allow you to build a reservoir of resilience so if life does throw you a curveball, you are able to navigate it well.

How does therapy ease pain?

A skilled counselor helps you process what's happening and find solid ground beneath your feet. You're not alone in the dark. We sit with you until the path becomes clearer.

What if I'm not ready to talk?

There's no rush. We meet you where you are, at your pace. Sometimes silence speaks louder than words, and we respect that. When you're ready, we'll be waiting.

Can medication help with grief?

For some, medication eases the heaviness so you can breathe and think clearly. It's one tool among many. We'll discuss what makes sense for your situation.
